Colleen Silva, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic’s Dermatology Department and sees patients in the Peoria area at a new facility, Springfield Clinic Peoria Allen (9010 North Allen Rd.).Dr. Silva earned her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., and completed her dermatology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center & College of Medicine in Hershey, Penn. “Medicine is the perfect balance, ” she says. “I get to help people and really make a difference in people’s lives, which is an amazing experience.” In her free time, Colleen loves baking, hiking and spending time with her two daughters, husband and other family.
